Samsung Galaxy A42 5G may have appeared on Geekbench: this is the smartphone of middle band compatible with the fifth generation standard. For the moment, we have no official information, but it is thought that it may arrive during the 2021.
Currently, the only 5G compatible Galaxy A series smartphones are Galaxy A51 (the 4G variant is available on Amazon) e Galaxy A71 (the 4G variant is available on Amazon). Galaxy A42 may be the least expensive alternative. The global version - recognized with the code SM-A426B - recently appeared on the benchmark platform, revealing some features.
In the field dedicated to motherboard we find the wording "lito". It is thought that the smartphone can be equipped with the SoC Snapdragon 765G (octa-core), flanked by 4 GB of RAM. However, a leaker is convinced that it can also be the new Snapdragon 690 5G, which we have already talked about. Indeed, it is plausible that Samsung, perhaps to limit costs, could choose the second chipset.
