There are many smartphones nowadays that adopt a display with a higher refresh rate than the canonical 60Hz, just think of the latest Xiaomi Mi 11 5G, Redmi Note 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S21 5G.
Gaming smartphones are the ones that probably focus more on these features and Nubia seems to know this very well as it has just announced the range Red Magic 6, the world's first smartphones with 165Hz OLED panel!
Red Magic 6 e Red magic 6 pro both have a diagonal AMOLED display of 6,8 " with FullHD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and refresh rate of 165Hz. The adaptive refresh rate still allows the smartphone to go down to 30Hz to save battery.
The responsiveness of the touchscreen reaches levels never seen with a sampling rate di 500Hz (single touch) or 360Hz (multi-finger touch), a real war machine for gamers.
The technical specifications are obviously top notch with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and SoC a minimum of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
The battery from 5050mAh of Red Magic 6 will allow the two smartphones to withstand even the most intense days of use without problems and is able to recharge at 66W. The Pro model has a bit less battery, oddly enough, with a unit stopping at 4500mAh. However, Red Magic 6 Pro earns the ultra fast charging to 120W which allows the smartphone to pass from 0% to 50% in just 5 minutes.
The photographic sector of the two smartphones is identical with a main sensor from 64MP and two secondary cameras from 8MP e 2MP. Selfies take care of a camera from 8MP.
Il jack from 3,5mm for headphones it is also present on this year's models and the fingerprint reader integrated in the display is also making its return. Nubia seems to have wanted to follow the path taken by Asus with its ROG Phone by including two programmable side touch buttons for your gaming sessions.
To keep Qualcomm's chip cool, there is a copper heatsink connected to the by now iconic fan included in Red Magic smartphones of recent years.
Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro have been announced for the Chinese market. The basic version with 8GB / 128GB is sold for 3799 yuan (approximately EUR 491,50), the Pro model starts at 12GB / 128GB for 4399 yuan (about 569,12 euros) while the limited edition with transparent back and 18GB / 512GB is offered at 6299 yuan (approximately EUR 814,94).
