Redmi K30i 5G is official. The Chinese company has announced a new mid-range smartphone, with a technical data sheet already seen. The device in fact inherits most of the features from the base model, Redmi K30 5G, announced last December. The differences? The main photographic sensor and the available memory cuts.

The new creature of the Chinese brand is based on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G with integrated 5G modem. The SoC is paired with 6 Gigabytes of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 Gigabytes of internal memory, unlike the previous model which also features a version with 8 Gigabytes of RAM. Same 6,67-inch IPS LCD display with Full-HD + resolution (2.400 x 1.080 pixels), aspect ratio in 20: 9, refresh rate at 120Hz and support for the HDR10 standard.

No changes even from an aesthetic point of view. On the back, we find four cameras arranged vertically but enclosed in a circular shape. The 64 Megapixel main sensor of the predecessor gives way, here, to a 48 Megapixel camera (f / 1.79) accompanied by an 8 Megapixel wide angle (f / 2.2), a 5 Megapixel (f / 2.4) for macros and a last 2 Megapixel (f / 2.4) for the depth of field.

The photographic sector is completed with two front sensors (20 Megapixel + 2 Megapixel) set in an oval-shaped hole. The whole is powered by one 4.500 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The software platform is entrusted to Android 10 with MIUI 11.

Redmi K30i 5G is available in China for 1.899 yuan (about 244 euros). For the moment, there is no information on a possible commercialization in our country.

The new Redmi Note 9s is available for purchase on Amazon at less than 250 euros. .
