Yesterday afternoon we witnessed the great return of Need for Speed, with Electronic Arts and Criterion showing the new main chapter of the series to the whole world. Now that Need for Speed Unbound has been officially revealed, fans of this series have been able to get a first look at this new iteration thanks to the announcement trailer. Now, after a few hours, the official page of the game on Steam has also appeared, thanks to which let's find out several more details.
After a break that lasted almost three years, with Need for Speed Unbound we return to savor the illegal racing of the EA franchise (which you can buy on Amazon). As we can see in the presentation trailer of the new game, the Criterion team has tried to decisively rejuvenate the graphic sector of the series proposing realistic car models and characters that wink at the cell shading animation technique.
Unfortunately, no gameplay footage has yet been shown, and even the Steam page only features some of the screenshots taken directly from the trailer released yesterday. Despite this, EA and Criterion have already stated that Need for Speed Unbound will feature a revised physics engine compared to past chapters and a freely explorable open world map driving the racing cars in the game.
At this point, let's see what are the requirements of the PC version of the new Need for Speed.
