Honor 30 and 30 Pro appear on Geekbench: will we find the new SoC Kirin 985?

Honor 30 e 30 Pro are again the protagonists of aSome indiscretions. These expected smartphones will arrive on April 15 and consumers are curious to discover them. Recall that the manufacturer has already unveiled Honor 30S and that it will soon launch Play 4T as well.

The information concerns both the new tiles of the Honor 30 series. Specifically, one of the products would appear on Geekbench. It is not certain that the device recognizable with the code “EBG-AN00” is the one mentioned, but there are concrete possibilities.

Apparently, the chosen SoC could be the version of Kirin 990 not compatible with 5G. According to many, it could be Kirin 985, a processor that was talked about a few weeks ago. We deduce this from the information present in the Geekbench tab, which also reports 8 GB of RAM. It is not excluded that Honor 30 Pro could not mount Kirin 985 (which would be reserved for the younger brother), but 990 5G.

A few days ago, EBG-AN00 / AN10 appeared in the 3C database and it looked like it could be a smartphone compatible with the 5G. Kirin 985 should be a very similar SoC to Kirin 990, which guarantees excellent performance.

We also know that Honor 30 will have the sensor Sony IMX700 from 50 MP, accompanied by two other 12MP and 8MP sensors. We just have to wait for the launch, set for the next 15 April.
