It just seems that from the version of forspoken in its presentation trailer to its current demo there has been an obvious downgrade. This was highlighted by the YouTube user ElAnalistaDeBits through a video in which he compares the stock in its two "dresses". Obviously we are talking purely about the graphic component of him.
Going beyond, for a second, the ways in which the general public is welcoming the Forspoken demo, the observation that emerged through the video is certainly extremely interesting. Based on the images it seems that Square Enix has implemented a general downgrade with this new title in development, from a technical and aesthetic point of view.
In recent days there has been a lot of talk about the beta of the game, also because following the discovery regarding its general duration, fans from all over the world have devoured this first taste of the video game, trying to experiment as much as possible with its current possibilities.
In the Forspoken demo we find three graphics modes: Quality (runs at 30fps with a resolution of 1728p), Ray Tracing (lower resolution improves shadow quality, for now) e Performances (60fps and resolution up to 1440p dynamic with temporal reconstruction). However, it is always good to specify that we are not in any way faced with the definitive and complete version of the title, and that therefore such a comparison, however intriguing, cannot be totally relevant. Furthermore, nothing prevents a patch on day one or shortly thereafter dedicated precisely to the best possible graphic resolution for the experience.
We just have to wait for new details on the matter, pending the release of Forspoken, set for January 24 2023.
