Posted on March 4 on Nintendo Switch and the 13 October of the same year on Steam, Triangle strategy exceeded any expectations going over one million copies currently sold. This was revealed by Square Enix itself, proving to be proud of the results that its new project is obtaining.
Why did hardly anyone expect such a reaction to Triangle Strategy? The answer to this question lies in its being a fairly classic JRPG, released especially for fans of the genre. Veterans and the general public, however, had shown great interest in the video game since its launch, probably increased by its subsequent publication on Steam, therefore in the PC version.
Below we leave you the synopsis official of the title, referring you to further insights, without spoilers, in the our review: “Three great powers have been at war with each other for a long time, on the vast continent of Nortelia. This land bears the scars of a long history which includes the War of Salt and Iron, the result of a struggle for control of these specific resources. Later the Holy Empire of Sabulos, which controls the salt, the Grand Duchy of Aesglast, an iron land covered in ice and snow, and the Kingdom of Glenbrook, which lies between the other two powers, reached a balance via peace agreements . However, following an incident, the situation between these three powers begins to falter, slowly destroying itself.
Triangle Strategy players will be put in the situation of having to implement some fundamental choices throughout their story. These will be dictated both by personal experience and by the story of the protagonist himself.
