After the latest persistent rumors, Xiaomi has officially raised the curtain on Redmi 9. The new low-end smartphone will debut first in Spain, and then presumably also reach our market. As per tradition, we are talking about a device characterized by an excellent quality / price ratio accompanied by a great autonomy.
The technical characteristics have all been confirmed. The beating heart is represented by the MediaTek Helio G80 combined with 3 or 4 Gigabytes of RAM and 32 or 64 Gigabytes of expandable internal memory. The design has not been revolutionized compared to the predecessor. The front houses a 6,53-inch IPS LCD display with Full-HD + resolution and drop notch for the 8 Megapixel front camera.

On the back, however, four cameras. The main 13 Megapixel (f / 2.2) sensor is coupled to an 8 Megapixel (f / 2.2) wide angle, a 2 Megapixel (f / 2.4) for depth of field and a last 5 Megapixel (f / 2.4) sensor for macros. The biometric sensor for fingerprint recognition appears included in the same photo module.
The whole is powered by a 5.020 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Charging is entrusted to the USB Type-C port. Complete connectivity that also sees the presence of the NFC chip and 3,5 mm audio jack.
Redmi 9 will be available in Spain starting from 149 euros (3/32 GB) up to 179 euros for the 4/64 GB version. We await information about a possible commercialization on the market.
