A new update has enabled the SpO2 sensor, with which to monitor the level of oxygen in the blood, of Huawei Watch GT 2. This feature is particularly useful for Sports who wish to keep their situation under control during training.

In December, the manufacturer launched the smartwatch in several markets, but decided to initially block the SpO2 sensor. Watch GT 2 arrived in Europe a few weeks ago and Huawei, just over the past few hours, has begun to spread a new afirmware update (recognized with the code 1.0.6.26).

In addition to fixing some bugs, the update will finally activate the SpO2 sensor. This tool is very useful in a smart watch, as it allows you to keep an eye on the level of oxygen in the blood. Huawei Watch G2 (available for purchase on Amazon) is a smartwatch that hides the chip under the body Kirin A1. The device is available in two different versions:

  • 46 mm, with AMOLED display gives 1,39 inches and resolution 454 454 pixels x;
  • 42 mm, with AMOLED display gives 1,22 inches and resolution 390 390 pixels x.

The presence of the SpO2 sensor now makes the Huawei Watch GT 2 an even more interesting device. We also remember that the manufacturer has also launched a model, that is Watch gt 2e (available on Amazon), with a design designed specifically for young people and sportspeople.

Huawei Watch GT 2, a powerful and elegant smartwatch, is currently available for purchase on Amazon.
