OnePlus can now be considered one of the most important companies in the panorama of Android smartphones, especially if you look at the success recorded in recent years and certainly does not intend to stop there. The next goal of the group, according to what was declared by the CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau, will be to concentrate the finances destined to its research and development division for exponentially improve the photographic sector of the next smartphones.

OnePlus has already pioneered the introduction of other technologies in the field of smartphones, just think of the OnePlus 7 Pro, launched in 2019 which saw the introduction of a high-quality AMOLED display with a refresh rate that reached 90Hz. Subsequently, other smartphone manufacturers have also started to follow this trend and now we are faced with a mass adoption of this technology, implemented on almost all devices on the market.

With the OnePlus 8T, the Chinese company wanted to offer the best features on the current market but at a much more competitive price than its competitors. However, we still find a sector in which OnePlus has remained substantially behind, namely the photographic one. The devices of the Chinese house, in fact, continue to not offer maximum performance in this respect, with many users who have sharply criticized the photographic quality of even the most expensive models, far from the solutions offered on other devices even in the mid-range.

Not that the results are so disastrous, but certainly the solutions presented by OnePlus for the photographic sector seem not to have seen that long-awaited innovation, continuing to always remain one step behind. A situation that leaves a bad taste in the mouth if you consider that from other points of view the OnePlus smartphones are always among the best on the market, especially for the performance they can guarantee.

The good news has finally arrived in these hours and as early as 2021 the situation could change. As confirmed by the current CEO, the company will put in all the necessary efforts so that the R&D division can have all the necessary tools to improve this aspect. We had given you news in this sense in the past weeks, when according to various rumors, the Chinese house would have entered into a partnership with Leica to cooperate in the realization of the cameras to be implemented on the next smartphones.

For the uninitiated, Leica is one of the largest companies in the production of cameras, lenses, binoculars, spotting scopes, microscopes and ophthalmic lenses. The latest confirmation in this regard came directly from Pete Lau via social media, with a post published on Weibo. We imagine that such news can make happy the many owners of OnePlus devices but also all fans of the brand who until now have decided not to buy a smartphone from the company precisely because of these shortcomings. It cannot be ruled out that the next OnePlus 9 may arrive on the market already equipped with Leica lenses, while still remaining in the field of uncertainty considering that we are faced exclusively with indiscretions.

OnePlus has also decided to focus its efforts also in the wearable device segment and not surprisingly, it would be ready to launch its first fitness band but above all a new smartwatch. In short, the Chinese brand would have decided to do things big and in 2021 we should see the launch of several particularly interesting news.

The new mid-range, the OnePlus N10 5G is available on Amazon on offer. You can find it by clicking on.
