The temporary email does not have a registration or password and is only available for a limited time. Many people have multiple email accounts, whether for personal, business, or business issues, and all of them receive spam messages every day, which wastes time deleting them.
One solution to prevent users from being registered on different mailing lists is to create temporary emails or disposable emails. Temporary mail is an address that comes generated without registration or password and have an expiration date, which means that after a certain time, the provisional email will cease to exist.
In this sense, the users will be able to use these "fake mails" to avoid receiving unwanted emails in their personal account, so they should not provide the "temporary email" address as a method of communication.
However, You can also use Gmail to create a valid temporary email. Below you will find tons of options for creating temporary email addresses.
How to create temporary email with Gmail
While Google doesn't have its own disposable email service, Gmail offers the ability to create custom emails that you can delete when they're no longer needed. If Google's advertising features don't take care of the problem, here's how to use this tool.
When asked to enter your email address on a service that you prefer not to provide your correct address, enter it as normal, but end your email address with a specific tag: in this example we used “+ unwantedemail.gmail .com "(the plus sign is useful for visibility, but not necessary).
That way, when you receive an email from that service or company, it will have that additional name attached. Emails sent to that address will appear in your inbox along with all the others, but with that specific tag at the end of the address, they're very easy to delete or completely block.
Once you are done receiving emails from that specific address, you can set up a Gmail filter to make sure it automatically deletes all emails arriving at that address.
To do this, type your particular tag into the search box at the top of your inbox and click the arrow on the right side. Then enter that tag in the From section of the filter form and click Create Filter. On the next page, check the Delete box and click Create Filter. You will no longer see any email arriving from that specific address.
How to create temporary email with Burner Mail
Are you thinking of signing up for many different services, possibly as a tester or reviewer? So you may prefer to install an extension which makes creating temporary email addresses much faster and easier.
In this case, we recommend the well-crafted Burnermail extension. There are also options to create an account on the site itself and use disposable email from there, but the extension is what we need to use.
Go to the Burner Mail site and select Install Burner Mail for Chrome (there is also a download in the Chrome Store if you prefer). This will add the Burner Mail icon to the top right of your browser window and enable the service as you browse. You may need to log into your Google account during this process.
When you need to enter a fake email address, hover over it and you should see the Burner Mail icon - a small flame on a letter - and a disposable email that was automatically generated for you.
Select it and the email will be created and entered into the field. This email will forward the emails to your Gmail account for as long as you want, but it will keep all your information safe.
If you get emails you don't want, spam, or have just been using disposable email for as long as you want, select the Email Burner icon and view all the email addresses you have created.
You will see an toggle bar showing the Block Sender option when you step over it. Deactivate the email address in question and it will be disabled, blocking all emails. You can reactivate it if necessary.
However, if you are clearly receiving spam or the email is useless, select the "X" option to the right of the sender Block and you can completely delete the address. You can have up to 20 addresses at a time.
You can also reply to emails using an automatically generated email address if you do not wish to provide the source address, using the same procedure.
