The video game releases of the last few years have given us a series of unforgettable titles. Not only big triple A blockbusters, but also the undergrowth of indie experiences has been able to attract ever greater attention year after year. Today there are many gamers who pay attention to the releases of the indie world, and we owe this to great games like Hollow Knight, Undertale, Sifu, Cuphead and many others who have contributed to raising the qualitative bar of the whole videogame medium more and more.
Just Cuphead has recently been the protagonist of a series of attentions thanks to the launch of both the animated series on Netflix and a DLC much awaited by fans. Now, however, Studio MDHR together with iam8bit has entered into a partnership that will bring the beloved love letter for 30s animation to the shelves of your home as well. Well yes, Studio MDHR's masterpiece will have a physical release.
The announcement took place just today, with iam8bit unveiling what will be the cover of the game in the retail version and on which platforms it will be released. The physical version of Cuphead, which will contain both the base game and the recent DLC The Delicious Last Course, will see the light for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The artwork featured on the cover includes both the logo and the three beloved playable characters Cuphead, Mugman and Ms. Chalice.
On Cuphead's 5th anniversary, we're overjoyed to say: the game is Coming Soon to retail stores everywhere!! It will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 & Nintendo Switch…including The Delicious Last Course!

This beautiful re-release of the game was organized to celebrate the game's XNUMXth anniversary, but sadly at present, no launch date has been announced yet of this physical version of the game. We are sure, however, that as we get closer to the launch day Studio MDHR and iam8bit will update us; in the meantime, it's nice to know that one day this beloved video game will also be able to be part of our collections of games in tangible format.
