    From the name you can already realize that this type of fireplace is powered by the use of the fuel of the same name, the bioethanol.

    Let's now analyze another important point for the purpose of the purchase. That is the fact that it is a evergreen device, that is, able to adapt to any type of environment, thanks to its compactness and its low maintenance.

    So if you need an accessory that doesn't take your time in terms of cleaning and periodic maintenance, the bioethanol fireplace is the perfect choice. This is not a demanding device, the environment manages to remain clean and sober compared to the traditional fireplace.

    In the maintenance discussion we also insert the price aspect: the bioethanol as a fuel costs less than wood and pellets.

    Considerations on the Spanish legislation

    One last aspect you should pay attention to when choosing a fireplace is the relevant Spanish legislation. And the CTI - Spanish Thermotechnical Committee, to have implemented in accordance with UNI 11518 through which the following have been indicated:

    • the safety requirements,
    • features,
    • test methods,
    • the technical and functional indications of bioethanol fireplaces in liquid or gel form.

    When you proceed with the purchase, you must therefore check that the aforementioned code of the standard is shown on the label, demonstrating that the device has been made in accordance with the law.

    The safety plate on which the loading information is provided (located near the tank) and the relative maintenance, installation and use manuals must also be inevitable.
