If you are a lover of the PC world, in your career as a gamer you will have stumbled upon at least one mod for your favorite titles. By now any game has at least a handful of mods, and among these fan-made creations we can find everything from aesthetic mods that work on the graphics to the craziest mods that invent new content out of nothing. The mod we are about to tell you about acts on an element of Total War Warhammer 3 and it is certainly part of the second type of those mentioned a little while ago.
The mod for Total War Warhammer 3 (you can buy it on Amazon) in question is called Negromancy and allows several factions featured in the Immortal Empires campaign to recruit units killed in battle into their armies by turning them into skeletons. This content allows you to create a veritable squadron of skeletal undead, which also gives a very fascinating visual atmosphere, especially if you love to see whole armies made up of skeletal creatures.
What's even more interesting is that in this strategic mod there will not only be models of normal human-shaped skeletons, but since all factions can recruit skeletons you will be able to create entire armies composed of skeletons of elves, dwarves or orcs, but there are even skeletal versions of colossal mythological creatures such as carnosaurs, dragons, hydras and giants.
The modder also highlighted how this transformation mechanic works, explaining that whenever a player kills a unit in battle, that unit's bones will be added to a resource pool to use in the Mortuary Cult to resurrect that creature in skeletal version. If this mod manages to pique your curiosity, know that you can find it on the Steam Community Workshop, where in addition to finding all the necessary information you will also find the button to download and add the mod to Total War Warhammer 3.
