If you have been stranded in a particular mission and want to continue without going through the Avis to donate blood. The first thing to do is to use a text editor to open the playercfg.lua file located in the homeworld2binprofilesprofile1 directory.
At this point, look for the maxmission = x line and change the value to the value you want (putting it to 15 will unlock all missions).
The last step is to make a copy of the persist.lua file in the homeworld2BINProfilesProfile1CampaignASCENSION directory, where it is the number of one of the levels you have already played. Make a copy and then replace it with the level you want to play (for example, if you want to play level 6, copy the persist4.lua file to persist6.lua). If you don't, the game will not find any of the player's ships in the next level giving the mission lost (the mothership does not exist).
You can also modify the RU: look for the persist.lua file where is the mission number. The file is located in the Homeworld2BinProfilesProfileCampaignASCENSION directory. Open the persist * .lua file with a text editor such as Notepad. Locate the RU = line at the end of the file and enter the value you want. Under type = "Hgn_assault_frigate". If you want more, copy the following lines:

Paste it at the bottom of the file and for each of these repeated lines, an extra ship will appear. By doing so, you can create an impressive fleet of ships.
NOTE: if you decide to create many ships besides the mother ship, you will have to wait for them all to arrive at their destination.
