To get started, here you go the complete map of the "Canyon of the Kings", for reference.

Hot Zone

One of the first areas you should focus your attention on is the Hotspot: at the start of the match a section of the map will be circled in blue. Within this there are greater chances of receiving higher level armor, as well as weapons complete with all accessories.

Obviously this is a loot point coveted by many, especially if it is on the launch path, so you must be ready to sweat the loot. For this reason, if you are not an experienced player, it is best to avoid the Hotspot.

The speech is slightly different if it is not within launch range: in these situations many could opt for other areas, to start the game quickly, so you could take a risk and go straight there. The time spent would not be small, but you and your team could grab the best available and start off on the right foot.

Supply ship

Similarly to the Hot Zone, the supply ship is marked on the map for all players and moves through the Canyon until it reaches a designated point (also visible on the map). Once at your destination, the ship will place zip-lines that will allow you to climb up from the ground level.

If you are lucky, you might find the Supply Ship on your landing path - it would certainly be the best place to start a game, but surely you would be dealing with other teams, as fierce as you are. Also in this case, therefore, if you are a budding Apex Legends player, consider looking for quieter areas to start from.

Transmitter

It is the area located at the top right of the map, in the north-east area of the Canyon of the Kings. It is a small area, little used by the players and which will therefore allow you to collect loot in peace and prepare for the first clashes.

It is a great place for those who have yet to learn the basics and doesn't want to get caught in the crossfire of multiple teams with hours and hours of experience on their shoulders.

Sand

Located in the opposite corner from the Transmitter, it shares some characteristics: the small size, enough loot for the team, low presence of players. It is a great starting point, especially to be able to then move to Skull Town, a much larger area in which to start fights to the death.

We can consider it a valid landing place for those who have already learned the basics of Apex Legends, but he doesn't feel ready for the most dangerous areas of the map.

Purification plant

Located in the south-center of the Canyon, it's a great place to find medium to high quality loot. It is an area away from other areas, characterized by large concrete buildings. It is a great place for tactical and well-organized clashes: being in tune with your team is therefore essential.
