Genshin Impact: The best Artifact sets for every character

In this guide we want to explain which are the best sets of Artifacts for each of the 22 characters currently available in Genshin Impact, the latest free-to-play production by miHoYo 

Genshin Impact is the latest miHoYo production that has captured a huge audience. The mix of different genres, the strong aesthetic inspiration to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild and the gameplay mechanics as simple as pleasant to experiment have made it a highly interesting title for the general public. So interesting that it immediately became a box office record holder and, to date, Genshin Impact has amply covered development costs less than a month after launch. Now we have nothing else to do but see how miHoYo intends to support its free-to-play gacha in the long term, but above all, continue to strip it of all its mechanics.

First of all, as we have already explained to you in the specific guide, the various Artifacts present in Genshin Impact are grouped into many different sets, some more common, others very rare. Below we will list the ones that, in our opinion, are the "best" to use right now, a little for characteristics, a little for the association with the characters available so far in Genshin Impact. The list below will first indicate the name of the set, in brackets the fastest way to obtain items belonging to the set and, after the dash, the characteristics and number of pieces needed for each set to have them. 

The first group of best Artifact sets - Genshin Impact: The best Artifact sets for each character

Let's start with the first five Artifact sets that we think are most useful: 

• Gladiator's Finale (Wolf/Stormterror/Adventure Log):
  • (2 pieces) ATK + 18%;
  • (4 pcs) ATK + 35% Sword, Claymore and Polearm.
• Berserker (Wolf/Stormterror/World Bosses/Forzieri) –
  • (2 pieces) Crit Rate + 12%;
  • (4 pieces) Crit Rate + 24% when HP drops below 70%.
• Crimson Witch of Flames (Hidden Palace of Zhou):
  • (2 pieces) Pyro DMG Bonus + 15%;
  • (4 pieces) Increases DMG of Overloaded and Burning by 40%, increases DMG of Vaporize and Melt by 15%, and using an Elemental Skill increases the effects of the two-piece set by 50% for 10 seconds. 
• Thundering fury (Midsummer Courtyard); 
  • (2 pieces) Electro DMG Bonus + 15%; 
  • (4 pieces) Increases Overloaded, Electro-Charged and Superconduct DMG by 40%, by activating these effects, Elemental Skill CD decreases by 1 second. 
• Viridescent venerer (Valley of Remembrance):
  • (2 pieces) Anemo DMG Bonus + 15%; 
  • (4 pieces) Increases Swirl's DMG by 60%, decreases the enemy's Elemental RES of the element infused into the Swirl by 40% for 10 seconds.

Below is the second group of the ten best Artifact sets, in our opinion, in Genshin Impact:

• Wanderer's Troupe (Wolf/Stormterror):
  • (2 pieces) Increases Elemental Mastery by 80; 
  • (4 pieces) Increase DMG Charged Attack by 35% if character uses Catalyst or Bow. 
• Maiden beloved (Valley of Remembrance):
  • (2 pieces) Increases the character's Healing Effectiveness by 15%;
  • (4 pieces) Using an Elemental Skill or Burst increases the healing received by all party members by 20% for 10 seconds. 
• Nobless Oblige (Clear Pool/Mountain Cavern):
  • (2 pieces) Elemental Burst DMG + 20%;
  • (4 pieces) Using an Elemental Burst increases the ATK of all party members by 20% for 12 seconds. The effect cannot be combined. 
• Gambler (Clear Pool/Mountain Cavern):
  • (2 pieces) Elemental Skill DMG + 20%; 
  • (4 pieces) Defeating an enemy has a 100% chance to remove an Elemental Skill CD. It can only happen once every 15 seconds; 
• Archaic petra (Domain of Guyun):
  • (2 pieces) Geo DMG Bonus + 15%;
  • (4 pieces) Upon obtaining an Elemental Shard through a Crystallize Reaction, all party members gain 25% Resistance to that particular element for 10 seconds. Only one form of Elemental Resistance can be gained at a time with this method.

Let's start with the Fire element characters with their sets: 

• Dilute (Fire, Claymore): Gladiator’s Finale, Berserker, Crimson Witch of Flames; 
• Xiangling (Fire, Polearm): Crimson Witch of Flames; 
• Bennett (Fire, Sword): Gladiator’s Finale, Crimson Witch of Flames; 
• Amber (Fire, Bow): Wanderer’s Troupe. 

Here are the characters of the Wind element with their sets: 

• Winds (Wind, Bow): Viridescent Venerer, Noblesse Oblige, Wanderer's Troupe; 
• Jean (Wind, Sword): Gladiator's Finale, Noblesse Oblige; 
• Main character (Wind, Sword): Gladiator’s Finale, Berserker, Viridiscent Venerer; 
• Sucrose (Wind, Catalyst): Wanderer’s Troupe, Viridescent Venerer.
