Among the new exclusive Pokémon variants that you can find in the expansion The Snowy Lands of the Crown you can find Slowking forms Galar, second evolutionary line of Slowpoke given to the announcement of the expansion pass.

In this guide we will see how to get it easily and what its peculiarities will be, including skills, statistics and moves.

First step - get Slowpoke

To get a Slowking you will first need to get its base stage, Slopoke.

Capturing Slowpoke Galar form will be very simple, as you just have to go to the Brassbury station after you buy the expansion pass and you can then face it in a fight and capture it.

Alternatively you can always resort to exchanges or breeding, also because if you have already faced the solitary island of armor it is very easy that you will have already evolved it into Slowbro.

How to evolve Slowpoke into Slowking

Once you've got your Slowpoke, the first thing you'll need to do is head into the Crown Rift and search 15 Rami Galarnoce in the bright spots that you will find on the ground throughout the map.

Once this is done, go from the Giant's Bed to the Giant's Sole, then go through the Fragormare Cave and then reach the Frosty Sea area.

From here, enter the water and immediately turn left. You should come across a strip of land with a cave, enter it and then turn right.

In the room where you arrive you will find a nice old lady who will offer to weave the Galarnoce branches together to create a Corona Galarnoce.

At this point you just need to donate the item to your Slowpoke to make it evolve into Slowking.

In addition to this, compared to the original version Slowking Galar has the same sum of base stats (490) but 10 points less in attack and 10 more in special attack, giving it more damage output by sacrificing a stat that isn't typically used.

Evaluating only the stats, Slowking forms Galar would seem a great addition to any teams that make use of Distorted area, but at the moment it is too early to assess its effective utility in the competitive environment.
