Pokémon: Let's Go! Guide: how to unlock the Judge for IVs feature

    One of the features that Pokémon: Let's Go! Borrowing from Pokémon Go is the ease with which you can check the effectiveness of your monsters' stats and VI. We are obviously talking about the Judge function. In this case, however, it is necessary to unlock it: let's see how to do it immediately.     To start, you have to go to Aranciopoli. In order to reach the city, you have to defeat the first two gyms. Then head to Route 11, east of Orange City. On the far right of this area, before the Snorlax, you will find a building. Enter and head to the first floor, using the stairs. You'll find an assistant to Professor Oak: if you have caught 30 different types of Pokémon, it will update the Pokédex, thus unlocking the Judge function.

    The Judge function allows you to see the quality of your pocket monster via a simple indicator. Just go to the Pokémon stats summary and press Y, or shake the Joy-Con. At that point, it will appear in the upper left corner an icon that will indicate the category with a score from one to three stars. Obviously it is much better to have a team full of Pokémon with three stars.
