Pokémon: Let's Go! Guide: how to transfer Pokémon from smartphone to Nintendo Switch

Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! are finally available and fans of the series will have already thrown themselves into the adventures of the Nintendo saga. One of the questions that may rightly arise is: How do I transfer my favorite monsters from Pokémon Go to Pokémon: Let's Go? How can I switch them from smartphone to Nintendo Switch? How to unblock the transfer

First, you need to unlock this possibility. Start by going to Fuchsia City in Pokémon: Let's Go! It is in this city that you will get access to Go Parks and therefore to mobile transfer: there are twenty in the game, each of which can accommodate up to fifty Pokémon, for a total of a thousand.

Connect the accounts

You need to connect your Pokémon Go account with the Nintedo Switch game. There are two methods. The first requires you to go through your smartphone. Within the application, click on the Poké Ball icon in the center of the screen, then, enter the settings and scroll until you see a symbol in the shape of Nintendo Switch. At that point it is sufficient to press it to connect the two versions.

Another method requires using Pokémon: Let's Go !. You have to press X to open the menu and then press Y for settings. At that point, find the Pokémon Go options and press "yes" to confirm the connection. Finally, you will be prompted to verify your “Pokémon Go Account” and by pressing “Yes” again, you will complete the process.

How to transfer Pokémon

To do this, you have to open the mobile game and press on the Poké Ball icon as you did before. Now, select the Pokémon-shaped icon: you will see the Nintendo Switch symbol at the top left. Press it and find the chosen monster. By long-pressing on its image, you will be asked if you really want to send it. Give all the necessary okay.

Once this is done, you will need to enter Go Park and start the connection. Just confirm and the transfer will be completed. Remember that once moved to the Switch, the Pokémon cannot go back. Also, every time you send a Pokémon in this way you will get a candy.
