The Witcher 3: the developers explain how to use cross save

The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt is undoubtedly one of the most loved titles by lovers of role-playing games. Initially released on May 19 five years ago for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the game marks the "end" of the adventures of Geralt of Rivia, character born from the pen of Andrzej Sapkowski. The porting for Nintendo Switch of the adventures of the witcher has been quite successful so much so that CD Projekt RED added the cross save functionality with the patch 3.6.

The substantial update, in addition to having solved several bugs of the title, has added the integration of saving files with GOG, Steam and versions of the game for Switch from different regions. If you haven't quite understood how it works, don't despair. The Polish house has recently posted on its Instagram profile a guide in which it shows you how, by logging into the game and logging into your GOG.com account (or on the Steam one), you can download the saves from the cloud. Once you have decided to finish playing, just access the pause menu, go to "cloud backups“, Log into your account, choose the save file and then resume exactly where you left off the game. Despite being a very simple tutorial, CD Projekt RED cares a lot about its community and we believe that this short video can help all those people who don't feel very practical about it. Finally, remember that The Witcher 3 is also available for all platforms in its version Game of the Year Edition which includes the two incredible expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine.
