Pokémon Sword and Shield, the tutorial on capture can be skipped

Sword and Shield Pokémon will allow you to skip the introductory part that explains how to catch Pokémon. Those with a good memory remember that it is the first time since the version Crystal of 2000 that players are given this chance. In reality, however, it is less immediate than it seems, since there will not be the classic question (more or less creative) to spare the explanation.

The game begins by giving your character the ability to choose the starter Pokémon among Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble. Then you have to talk to the mother of the protagonist who gives you some money and five Poké Balls, at this point the classic script seems to change a bit. In fact, you will come to your rival Hop He is his brother Leon, sample of Galar which should explain how capture works but if you have already caught a Pokémon before meeting them, it won't be there no explanation. Leon will just comment on the fact that you are already experienced enough.

It seems to be a marginal aspect but for fans of the series after so many years repeating the same tutorial had probably become quite boring by now (even if someone, perhaps, was also fond of it). In general, Gamespot reports, all the early stages of Sword and Shield Pokémon they are faster especially than the previous version, Sun and moon, the introductory part of which was quite long. In the first 90 minutes of the new game it is already possible to reach the Wild Lands, the open world where it is also possible to meet Pokémon of very high level.

All this obviously was tested on the demo that was made available to some newspapers and journalists to start trying the game. Among the various innovations added by this chapter there will also be not only the creatures of Galar but also the new Gigamax transformation. Sword and Shield Pokémon had been officially presented by Nintendo last February and will be released next November 15th on Nintendo Switch.
