Instagram removes this popular feature but only in some countries

One of the most used functions in Instagram is the possibility of sharing a post among your own Stories available in the feed, but this possibility may soon be eliminated. In fact, in these hours, according to what was reported on the net, some users selected from different countries would have found themselves with this function temporarily disabled.

The social platform belonging to the Facebook group would in fact have decided to block this possibility for some users, thus preventing them from exploiting it to achieve more visibility using the Stories. So dust off a memory or share posts from other profiles (such as memes), at least for interested users, is no longer possible.

The people involved who tried to take advantage of this possibility offered by the platform, found themselves with a notification banner on their smartphone with a message that reads:

“Our community has suggested that they want to see fewer feed posts in Stories. During this test, you won't be able to add a feed post to your Story. "

As explained by the company itself, the goal is to satisfy the requests of the community and understand if such a choice may have an impact on how you use it of the very famous social network and above all if this can cause a drastic reduction in interactions between users themselves.

Officially, therefore, it is only a test aimed at a small circle of people and it will still take some time to understand if Instagram will actually decide to deprive all other users of this possibility. It will be necessary to wait for the results of these tests and subsequently verify how the American giant will decide to continue.
