How to give your Facebook profile a custom URL. Facebook is becoming more and more important. For many people it is one of the main ways of communication. Often the facebook contact is asked to a person ansi of the number.
The problem is if you have a common name it can be really hard for other people to add you.
The simplest thing to do is add a username for your Facebook account, and with it, get a simple URL that you can refer to future facebook friends.
Facebook a custom profile URL
- To open Facebook
- click the arrow in the upper right corner
- then click Settings
- in general you will see a section for the username
- click on Modification
- Well now here enter a unique username but that is inherent to your real name you can add letters or numbers
- click on Save Changes and then enter the password
- The username, and with it the URL will be changed
