Fortnite: challenges of week 9 and 10 discovered in the 12.40 update files

A few hours ago, Epic Games finally released the Fortnite 12.40 update which introduces various new features within Battle Royale, Save the World and Creative Mode. Obviously, the dataminers immediately worked to find everything that was hidden within the lines of code of the update: what did they find? The challenges of week 9 and 10 for the Royal Battle mode. Let's see together what it is.

First of all, let's see what the challenges of the 9 week Fortnite Season 2:

• Look for the chests in the various places indicated
• Deal damage with sniper rifles
• Increase the rarity of a weapon by reaching Legendary with an upgrade station
• Look for a Llama, a Legendary Chest, or a Supply Drop
• Inflict damage on a Choppa with a passenger or pilot on board
• Collect Midas XP Coins
• Transport a giant pink teddy bear found in Risky Rapids 100 meters
• Look for a Midas Golden Llama in a junkyard, gas station, and van campground
• Get information in spy games operation matches
• Get Survival, Combat, or Gold Vulture medals

To these is added the secret challenge asking you to save the Bears: here is the exact location.

Instead, let's see now the challenges of 10 week Fortnite Season 2:

• Eliminate opponents with a Heavy Shotgun, FDA and SMG
• Search for chests in different games
• Eliminate a player or henchman with a legendary or boss weapon
• Heal an ally using a Bandaged Bazooka
• Dance before 10 seconds after taking down a henchman
• Look for different golden pipe wrenches
• Catch a fish while on top of a Choppa
• Inflict damage to a player or henchman on the Yatch and in the Agency in a single game
• Visit the Agency, the Tombstones and the Straw Man in a single game
• Deal damage to henchmen while in disguise

Fortnite week 9 challenges will start tomorrow, Thursday April 16, 2020. For Fortnite week 10 challenges, however, we will have to wait until next week. Both groups of challenges are part of the Midas set and, in fact, will allow you to unlock the variants of the skin dedicated to Midas. Tell us, what do you think?
