Fortnite 2: Halloween challenges and rewards coming, here is the date

Fortnite 2 has been available for a week already and this means that a first update has already arrived (the 11.01 update, to be precise, of which you will find all the details in our dedicated article), too bad that the players of the Royal Battle could not enjoy real news about it, if not an increase in Experience Points obtained from medals and challenges. Thankfully, Epic Games has announced that they have some novelty themed Halloween.

As you can also see in the tweet below, the "Fortnitemares" will return, an obvious pun between Fortnite and "Nightmares", or "nightmares". This horrifying event will give us access to a series of new challenges, which will grant special cosmetic rewards. The event will also modify the map, decorating it in perfect Halloween style.

The date to be marked on the calendar is 29 October 2019, or next Tuesday, a typical day for the introduction of Fortnite news. The update will probably be introduced in the morning, while the event will kick off in the early afternoon, after the servers return online. There will also be new skins and accessories on sale in the store.
