Final Fantasy XV, guide to the secret dungeon of Pitioss

Among the various dungeons that lurk in the world of Eos there is a secret one, accessible only once Final Fantasy XV has been completed. In this guide, we explain where it is and why we suggest you take on this challenge.

The dungeon can only be reached once you reach the end credits because only then can you take the Regalia to Cindy, in Hammerhead, and transform it into the Regalia Type F. To do this, however, it is necessary to have three objects, which can be recovered by facing the missions of the three imperial bases. If you have them, you can turn the Regalia into a flying machine.

Precisely this function is essential to reach an otherwise unattainable place. In the image below you can see the place where the Ruins of Pitioss. The yellow bar a little further down on the map represents your landing strip. It will be there that you will have to be able to land the Regalia safely. An operation that is not easy but not impossible.

We advise you to take on this new challenge simply because it is a white fly among the dungeons proposed in the game. In the Ruins of Pitioss, the fighting will give way to environmental puzzles and the action will give way to platforming dynamics. Switches to press, passages to find, traps to avoid and platforms to jump on are the elements that distinguish this intricate dungeon.

The variety of the challenge combined with a very articulated level design they won us over, just a pity that the developers have definitely raised the bar with the platforming phase in different circumstances. Some sections, in fact, soon become quite frustrating due to the not excellent mobility of the character and the precision required for some jumps.

However this challenge rewards players who carry it out with one of the best accessories Noctis can equip. The Black Hood allows you to automatically dodge all enemy attacks, if you are not performing other actions. By equipping it, you can concentrate more on attacking and counterattacking. Especially with some types of enemies it proves to be extremely useful.
