Download the new firmware 3.0 for iPhone

The new one has just become available. Firmware 3.0 for iPhone / ipod touch! You can open iTunes and select "update" on your device tab, although we highly recommend performing a clean reset, described below.

If you want to restore yours from scratch iPhone, download the new Firmware 3.0 directly from Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), in these links:

(caution: if you have should part iPhone (2G), the update will make it impossible to activate your device until the new firmware 3.0 jailbreak!)

Procedure to update firmware to version 3.0

1. Download the firmware for your device (iPhone Edge, 3G or iPod Touch) from the links above.

2. Remove the extension .zip to the downloaded file. NB No need to unzip the file!

3. On Mac: Opened iTunes and select your iPhone card. Press and hold the button OTHER and press the button RESTART (restore in English). On windows: Opened iTunes and select your iPhone card. Press and hold the button BASIC and press the button RESTART (restore in English). Enjoy the new features and look forward to it jailbreak (it will only be a matter of very little time) :D
