Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Volpolo lottery guide

One of the innovations brought by the latest update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the Festival of Fireworks and the Volpolo lottery, let's find out with our guide when and how to participate

Animal Crossing: New Horizons doesn't stop updating and amazes us with so much new content. Update 1.4.0 brought beyond the highly anticipated possibility to back up the island, also the event of the Season of Fireworks. A good way, therefore, to end this bizarre summer made of little (but intense) heat, which managed to make us forget (perhaps too much) the months of fear and loneliness we spent at the beginning of the year. The fireworks displays that will be held throughout August on our island will also lead Volpolo, the notorious thief, to visit our island more often. Not to sell fake paintings and statues though, but to let us participate in his lottery!

Pim pum pam !!

Before we dive headfirst into our guide to Volpolo's Fireworks Season and Lottery in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, we remind you that here on Holygamerz you can find the review of Nintendo's latest effort. You can also find a long series of guides on the title, for example how to build stairs to climb to the top, how to jump and travel in time, how to plant star trees, how to make a bunch of stars with turnips, our guide to colors of the various balloons, how to use the shooting stars and our guide for Pasqualo and the mermaid set and much, much more. Also find guides for what Florindo and Volpolo sell, above all, how to poop. You can also see what will be the additions between fish, insects and marine creatures in the month of August at this link! Let's proceed, shipped, away!

A mastery of colors - Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Volpolo's lottery guide

Once you have downloaded the 1.4.0 update, if you log into Animal Crossing: New Horizons on a Saturday in August, Fuffi will warn you that starting from 19 that evening you can attend a wonderful fireworks display set right on your island. The Fireworks Season has therefore come to color the setting summer of your atoll, in a riot of truly suggestive light effects and yukata. Well done, Nintendo.

Our dear Volpolo will also revive the festival, who seems to want to try to expand the business outside of his beloved fishing boat, in which he sells works of art that are generally too fake for our tastes. The fox will have a banquet in the main square of your island, which will also open with the show at 19pm. At this banquet we will be able to buy tickets to participate in the Volpolo lottery.

From one scam to another - Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Volpolo lottery guide

Volpolo will sell an unlimited number of tickets at the cost of 500 stars each. Each ticket will be numbered and, obviously, each number will correspond to a very specific prize. The numbering goes from 1 to 12, so if you have already obtained twelve different prizes, do not continue to spend thousands of stars hoping to get more. As someone has already done (like who is writing this guide). As with the popular Japanese lottery, called Ichiban Kuji, the numbering also dictates the rarity of the prize in descending order: the number 1, therefore, will be the most coveted prize.

We do not recommend that you try your luck so hard, take advantage of the lottery to get just the prizes you like aesthetically and those for taking photos in Photo Mode. This is because, in reality, the various prizes have a selling price from Mirco and Marco much lower than the 500 stars that you will spend to find them. The first prize, the Red Streamer, also has a selling price of 150 stars. However, they are all very suggestive and cute objects to use to take exciting photos, especially with the fireworks behind them.
