White Wizard Skills and Traits Guides - Bravely Default II

Il White Wizard is a recurring class within the Final Fantasy series and is also a recurring class on Bravely, as seen above Bravely Default II. In this guide I will explain everything you need to know about this class. This guide is still ongoing, so expect more in the coming days!

Class summary

The White Wizard is there curative class par excellence and makes use of white magic, mainly healing (but not always).

• Healing spells are a must
• Defensive spells like Protection and Cocoon
• Available immediately

How to unlock it?

This class is unlocked by continuing with the Main Quest, exactly you get beating Selene in the basement of the Outlaw's Den, a small farmhouse not too far from the first city.

Ability

The abilities of the White Wizard are of the healing type preventing you from dying in the short term in long lasting battles. There's also a chance to come back to life thanks to some white magic.

Recommended skills

As with the Black Mage there isn't much to recommend, but I can tell you which skills you should use more frequently.

Specialties and special abilities

Each class has two specialties and a special ability. The first specialty is acquired based on when you unlock the class while the second is obtained by reaching level 12. This type of specialty offers bonuses that are often passive while the special ability, in addition to being active, allows (at times) to do damage to the enemy. Obviously this is not the case with the White Wizard.

Mastery of weapons

Not too much to say here too, you should mainly equip sticks, sticks or even bows in some cases. I recommend that you consider some shields, just to strengthen your defenses, but watch out for the drop in speed.

In the early stages of the game I recommend having Gloria in the role of White Mage with a bow equipped, in order to heal yourself quickly and be able to attack flying enemies on your way to Savalon.

Best secondary class

Not too much to say here, I will update as soon as possible ie after testing some combination. At the start of the game you can test Handyman for the right support or even Black Mage for more solid offensive options as well.
