The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom - Labyrinths guide

The guide to the labyrinths of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: the solution to Daedalus Island and the two Tolabirin Forts to obtain Ganondorf's armor.

Wandering in the skies of Hyrule you happen to see immense structures in the sky on the horizon: there are three in total, two to the north and one to the south, and they are the large labirinti of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. These are very complex constructs that can take several minutes before reaching a solution, and each of them holds a piece of one of the most coveted armors in the work: the historic armor worn by Ganondorf.

The labyrinths have a precise functioning: you have to start from the structure on the ground, finding a way to reach the center, to then face a Shrine and interact with a button that allows you to access the variant in the sky. At that point you will have to find a way to reach the labyrinth in the sky - which is not always easy - to solve a further puzzle that will finally give you access to the bowels of the earth. Nothing complicated, especially if you have ours at hand guide my labyrinth of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Below, however, you can find the link to the index of the complete guide.

Daedalus Island

Daedalus Island from Tears of the Kingdom

L'Daedalus Island it is a huge floating architecture easily visible from the north-eastern end of Akkala. It is located in the middle of the sea, and reaching it is quite simple, even just using the parasail. The problem is getting to the sanctum sanctorum, since it is a labyrinth. We have marked the route in the image above, but unfortunately we are not very good at drawing. Suffice it to say that along the way you will come across a metal crate that you need to move with the Ultrahand, after which you will have to follow the path until you come across a ladder. Then follow the path to get to the Zonau device in the center of the labyrinth, which will unlock the entrance to the island in the sky.

Reaching this island is a problem: you will need a nice flying device, and one that is also very powerful to reach it from the archipelago of the region. Once on site, you will have to use the parasail to navigate the labyrinth on the wings of the wind, reaching the four terminals to be activated. In the image above we have marked the exact location of each terminal. Once completed, you will have to reach the roof, activate another device and then throw yourself into the bowels of the earth, where the Armored Golemax awaits you which protects the first piece of armor. Once you beat the Golemax, remember to climb the underground structure to activate a root.

Forte Tolabirin Nord

The North Tolabirin Fort

even the Forte Tolabirin Nord it's a nasty beast: the area is full of miasma, but above all it's patrolled by Floormasters, the terrible packs of hands that try to surround and overwhelm Link. In this case, however, a researcher will have left some acorns on the ground: don't pick them up! You can use them to help you orient yourself until you find the entrance to the inner room. In the image above we have marked the correct path, but to get to the end you will have to climb over invasive puddles of miasma. Once your device is activated, tap move across the sky.

Even in this case, reaching the island is no joke: prepare a pretty powerful hot air balloon, perhaps with a couple of rockets, and also prepare some protection for the cold, because up here the temperatures are prohibitive. Also in this case we have marked the position of all the terminals, but given how they are positioned perhaps it is better to climb the labyrinth and gradually lower ourselves from above onto each objective. Then, once again, you will have to win the battle in the bowels of the earth and activate the root.

Forte Tolabirin Sud

Il Forte Tolabirin Sud in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

even the Forte Tolabirin Sud it's a hellish place: it's hot, so if you don't have the Gerudo anti-sun equipment it will be a big problem to move around here. A good solution is to throw a white Chu Chu jelly or a freezing fruit on a steak: eating it you will feel less the effect of the stuffiness. Also in this case we have marked the correct route on the map and you will have the usual acorns to guide you; Be careful though: the labyrinth has an underground which is absolutely not marked on the maps, so pay attention to the walls covered in miasma to find the entrance.

South Tolabirin Island

The last island, like all the others, is an ugly beast. Our advice is to use a drone with at least four turbines, otherwise it will be very difficult to get to the top. The island map is a little more complex than the others, but you shouldn't have any problems, especially knowing the location of the terminals we've marked in the screenshot above. Watch out for openings and inlets, because you will find many of them, especially near the terminals. Once the task is completed, all you have to do is take down the last Golemax, take the armor and activate the root, but we are sure that by now you have become masters against this particular enemy.
