Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, guide to the best Perks and where to find them

Here are, in our opinion, the best Benefits to assign to Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and where you can find them.

During your adventure in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor you will unlock a series of Benefits. It is passive bonuses which offer truly essential advantages during combat, especially at higher difficulties, where the enemies become tougher and more aggressive.

Unlike Skills (here are the most useful ones), you can only assign a limited number of Benefits to Cal. Considering that there are 25 in total and many occupy more than one slot of the maximum ten available, it is inevitably necessary to make a selection. For this reason, below we will explain what, in our opinion, the Better benefits and where to find them.

The best benefits of Star Wars Jedi Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, guide to the best Perks and where to find them

Resilience

This Benefit increases the maximum Block gauge, in practice you will be able to block more opponent attacks. Unless you are a master of dodging and counterattack skills (such as Push Block), we suggest you always keep it equipped as it only takes up one slot.

You will get Resilience as a reward for completing the Chamber of Duality, the first of the game's 7 Jedi Chambers, which you will visit as part of the objectives to advance the main story.

Dexterity

Another essential Benefit useful in many scenarios, which Increases damage dealt by throwing the Lightsaber of Cal. It becomes even more interesting when combined with skills related to this type of attack, such as the very powerful Dancing Blades of the Two Swords style. The only flaw is that it takes up two Benefit slots, so we suggest you perhaps deactivate it if you face a boss against whom it is useless to carry out ranged attacks to activate other bonuses that you consider more useful depending on the situation.

You will get Dexterity as a reward for completing the Chamber of Reason. It is located in Koboh, in the Basalt Forest, not very far from the "Basalt Rift" meditation point. Continue along the main path and you will find a destroyed bridge that you can cross with the grappling hook, on the other side is the room.

Fortification

This Benefit gradually regenerates health of Cal up to a certain point of his life bar. This is a very useful bonus in the initial stages of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor which allows you to not always have to rely on stimpacks to survive. However, considering that it occupies 3 slots, in the advanced stages you can very well replace it with other Benefits, especially after you have unlocked the upgrades of the Defense branch.

You will get Fortification in the Basaltic Forest. Starting from the Forest Mechanism meditation point, head into the room on the right and climb up to the top. Once you get to the roof, go around until you can drop down onto a path. Continue along this road until you spot a crack in the wall on the right from which you can enter. Once across you will have to do some vine jumping and parkour until you reach this Perk.

Honorable mention to Ambidextrous and Precise Mira, two ad hoc Benefits to enhance the Blaster style

Persistence

A two-slot Perk that regenerates a decent amount of health every time Cal defeats an enemy during the Slowdown. Also in this case we are talking about a truly tasty bonus in the initial stages of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

You will get Persistence after completing the Chamber of Temper, located in Koboh. Starting from the Southern Meta meditation point, continue towards the Promised Meta area for a few meters and cling to the Relter (if you have unlocked the possibility of using them) and fly for a few meters to reach the roof of the Corroded Silo (it is a large circular building, difficult be wrong) circular on the right. Use the Force to open the grate and drop down to locate the entrance to the chamber.

Crushing

Another Benefit that takes up two slots but will be useful throughout the adventure, as it increases the effectiveness of Cal's attacks in break the guard of enemies, which means that fewer hits will be needed to break it, which is an advantage that you can exploit both against standard opponents and against some bosses.

You will get Shatter by completing the side mission "Find the Missing Prospectors" on Koboh, which will be entrusted to you by the Prospector who is located near the "Promised Meta Outpost" meditation point.

Balanced

This Benefit activates whenever you use one voice pack, stunning all enemies in the immediate vicinity. Not only that, while Cal heals himself the animation will not be interrupted by the first attack received. We are talking about very useful effects in any situation, which allow you to regain your strength even in critical situations without fear of being interrupted. It takes up two slots, but in our opinion it's worth them all.

You will obtain Balanced in an advanced phase of the main missions of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, to be precise after defeating a certain boss (which we will not mention to avoid spoilers) that you will face in the "Republic Research Laboratory" during your second visit to the Shattered Moon.

Wisdom

A Benefit with effects that are as simple as they are useful increases the amount of experience points obtained from defeated enemies. It takes up three slots, but in the initial stages of the adventure a similar bonus certainly comes in handy, as you can access a greater number of skills and upgrades for Cal more quickly.

You can get Wisdom by purchasing it from Zeta at Pythoon's Saloon for 5 Data Discs.

Gambler is a Perk that greatly increases the experience points obtained, but it is not for everyone. Wisdom is a great alternative: the bonus is lower but has no downsides

Versatility

If you like use more than one fighting style with the lightsaber this is the Perk for you, since it substantially increases the damage inflicted temporarily by switching from one to the other.

Versatility can also be purchased from Zeta at Pythoon's Saloon for 5 Data Discs.

Extras: Accuracy

This Benefit takes up only two slots and increases stamina damage inflicted on enemies after a parry. On the other hand, it also significantly reduces the time to perform them, so we recommend it only to the most experienced players with quick reflexes.

You will get Accuracy at theDevastated Settlement, in the Stone Spiers area, during your second visit to Koboh.

Extra: Punter

We conclude with a Benefit that we suggest only to the most skilled Jedi or those who like to take risks. Sacrificing four slots, Gambler significantly increases Experience points obtained from all enemies, but in the event of death you will no longer be able to recover them in any way. That said, with a little attention you can use it to gain extra experience, perhaps while revisiting the environments to recover collectibles that you missed the first time, but we strongly advise you against equipping it against bosses for obvious reasons. Alternatively, there is always the Wisdom Benefit we talked about previously, which offers a smaller bonus, but has no downsides.

You can get Gambler by completing the side mission "Defeat the Sutaban Alpha" at Sister Taske's request after defeating the Golden Skriton, during your second visit to Jedha.
