The Chinese house released the first information about it already last December, a few days after Qualcomm's announcement of its new top-of-the-range SoC, the Snapdragon 888, the same one that will use the next smartphone. Specifically, it would refer to the Pro version, which it would see the presence of a 6,8-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 3200 x 1400 pixels and a particularly high refresh rate.

Among the other features we could also find the implementation of 12GB of RAM of the LPDDR5 type, 128, 256 or 512 GB of internal memory and a 5000mAh battery with super fast charging technology, this too a figure higher than the standards proposed by the others. producers. It could even reach 125W through proprietary technology called UltraDART Charge.

Thanks to it, the smartphone would be able to recharge from 0% to 41% in 5 minutes and touch 100% in just 21 minutes, a real record. Without a shadow of a doubt we would be faced with one of the fastest phones, at least in terms of recharging, of 2021. The smartphone should then be based on Realme UI 2.0 and Android 11.

Just recently, Realme has created a new social account available on the Weibo platform dedicated to the new series of smartphones and used by the company to anticipate some aspects before the official launch, in particular those of the future top of the range, characterized by the code name "Koi". In the last few hours then, the leaker @Geek_Cao has also published a series of unpublished images about it, together with some specifications that allow us to have new confirmations and discover new details.

Among the information published, the presence of the Snapdragon 888 has been confirmed and therefore also of 5G connectivity, with Realme that will continue to use its slogan “Dare to leap” to advertise its devices. On the design side, the device would have a very similar appearance to that of the Realme X7 Pro.

Moving on to the photographic sector, thanks to the help of the images we can see the presence of a triple rear camera, positioned vertically, with a 64MP main sensor, a predisposition already seen on several devices of the Chinese house.

The images then show us the presence of a glass body with a rather particular color, news that differs from the rumors previously identified that would have provided a back cover in leather or in any case with a very similar finish. This clue could make us think that the "Race" and the "Koi" are two different smartphones, in reality the leather version could have been thought of as a special edition of one of the devices.

More details will certainly be made available over the next few weeks, in the meantime we can try to indicate what the selling price could be, again thanks to the information published on the net, with a figure that would be around 630 euros, at the current exchange rate. It is clear that if the smartphone were to arrive in our country, the price could undergo a further increase. Barring surprises, its announcement would be expected after the Chinese New Year, that is, after February 12.
