Mass Effect Andromeda changes the cards in fact compared to the previous chapters of the saga by modifying the system of classes and character development, making your alter ego much more customizable than its predecessors.

At the beginning of the game, after changing the appearance of the Pathfinder, you are asked to choose your character's initial training. In this case, the old Mass Effect classes are replaced by the following, which however follow their typology:

• Security - Soldier
• Technician - Engineer
• Biotico - Adept
• Leader - Sentinel 
• Demoman - Vanguard
• Agent - Infiltratore

The initial training provides a first power with one point invested (the maximum is six points) and two skills that would normally require as many as 9 points spent in one of the three available branches: Combat, Biotic and Technical.
