How to change or add email address in Skype
- Click on your profile picture or select Edit profile in the Account Data section at the bottom of the page.
- Go to the Contact details section and select Add email address.
- In the empty box that appears, type in your new email address and select the green Save button at the bottom of the page.
- You can add up to three email addresses, following the steps described above.
- You will receive an email, on the newly selected address, informing you that your primary and / or secondary email has been updated.
How to change primary email address in Skype
Now once you have added a new email address you can set it as primary to sign in to Skype. Here's what you need to do.
To set a profile email address as your primary email address:

- Click on your profile picture or select Edit profile in the section Account data At the bottom of the page.
- Scroll down to the section Contact and select the button Modification to the right.
- Select Set as primary email address next to the address you want to set as your primary email, then select the green button Save At the bottom of the page.
- Enter your password to confirm the change to your primary email address.
How do I change an email address or remove it from Skype
If you don't want to delete an email previously added to Skype or you want to change it, this is the procedure to follow.

You cannot delete your primary email address as there must always be one in your Skype profile.
