Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, how to solve the Pangea figurines Dino Digits quiz

Are you playing Horizon Forbidden West: Burngin Shores and having trouble solving the Dino Digits quiz inside Pangea Park? We'll give you a hand.

One of the extra activities proposed by Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores consists of solving a quiz called Dino Digits within the Pangea Park, an area that you will visit as you progress through the main missions of the DLC campaign. Up for grabs is the "Dino Digits Quiz Completed" Bronze Trophy, experience points, 3 skill points and an exclusive face paint for Aloy.

To complete this little optional objective you will have to enter the correct answers in the five terminals scattered around the statue in the central area of the park. The questions concern the fictional Pangea film series, but don't worry, you don't need to know the lore of Horizon Forbidden West inside out to get the solution.

In fact, the answers are within the descriptions of the statuette Pangea, of the collectible items introduced in this expansion. Their description, which you can read from the collectibles menu, includes one of the answers necessary to pass the Dino Digits quiz. In total there are five figurines to collect, one for each question in the Pangea Park terminals.

At this point we have good and bad news. The "bad" one is that unfortunately in the version of Horizon Forbidden West due to a localization problem the code for one of the Pangea Statuettes is missing, which could make solving this puzzle complicated. At the time of writing the issue is still present, but we are confident that it will be resolved quickly by Guerrilla Games.

On the other hand, the good news is that the answer codes are identical in all games. What does it mean? That It is not necessary to collect all five figurines of Pangea to solve the quiz, you simply need to know what the codes are and which terminal to enter them in. The same also applies to the trophy linked to this extra activity, although its description seems to suggest the opposite.

In any case, for completeness, below we will explain how to solve the Dino Digits quiz by providing you all the answers to the questions, in order to quickly get the rewards up for grabs, and where to find all the Pangea Statuettes in case you want to add them to your collection.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores, how to solve the Pangea figurines Dino Digits quiz

For completeness we have also indicated in the map above where to find the Pangea Statuettes. In fact, just getting close to their location will make their dinosaur icon appear on the map, making it much easier to spot them, so you'll probably spot most if not all of them just by wandering around the new Burning Shores region. Below you will find some indications:

  1. Once you reach the figurine marker, you will find a closed door and a terminal next to it where you will have to enter the password to unlock it. The code is written on the roof of a building on the left, but for convenience here it is: 111464. Once you open the door, you will find the statuette on the ground.
  2. Enter the building with the Fandom Zone sign and you will find a note with the precise location of the statuette, which was stolen. It is located in an underground car park a few tens of meters further east. Drop into it and go down to the lowest floor through the hole in the floor. You will find a destroyed car and the figurine you are looking for in the trunk.
  3. Once you reach the location of the marker, you will have to destroy a concrete pillar above the roof of the building, this will open a hole and you can drop down inside. Dive into the water and you will find a digital note that will tell you the precise location of the statue, which is located in a building just east of where you are now, after the lava river.
  4. Once you reach the marker, examine the note at the entrance of the building with the Fandom Zone sign and then the destroyed car immediately in front. Then use the Focus to examine the destroyed wall of the building and remove the debris using the grapple. This way you can enter and examine the Aracapod chest inside. Once done, follow the car's tracks to a beach. Here you will find a series of destroyed Arcapod crates, examining them will give you various materials and the Pangea statuette you are looking for.
  5. It is located near Pangea Park. Reach the structure indicated by the pointer on the map and check the building to the left of the statue to find a grate to remove. Do this and then sneak through the ventilation shaft to reach the room where the statuette is located.
