Some time ago it was announced Battlefield 2042, the new chapter of the historic series of branded FPS Electronic Arts. The title was recently postponed a few weeks, but despite this, fans are still eager to try it for themselves. Fortunately, however, very soon players will be able to play it in preview thanks to the new beta arriving in October.

However, not all fans will be able to try the game at the same time, but some may be able to log in earlier than others. To avoid confusion we have therefore decided to write this article, where you can find it all information regarding the date and time of the Battlefield 2042 beta.

Here is the European date

The Battlefield 2042 beta it will begin on 6 October at a time that is around 10 in the morning. From that moment on, the owners of a console PS4 or PS5 will have fun trying the new DICE game until 10:00 am on Sunday 10 October. In addition, in order to make the most of all the time available to you, you can also download the beta early starting October 5th.

Apparently though not all players will be able to play as of October 6th. In fact, most people will only be able to start playing the beta from 8 October, that is, two days later. To be able to try the title from 6 October it will in fact be necessary to own at least one of two prerequisites required by Electronic Arts. The first method that will allow you to try out Battlefield 2042 in advance is to sign up for EA Play. EA Play is a subscription service from Electronic Arts that will allow you to access a collection of some of the most popular EA games, get exclusive rewards and, of course, preview the new titles coming out. So if you decide to subscribe to the service you can participate in the beta as early as October 6.

The second method that will allow you to be among the first to play Battlefield 2042 is to pre-order the game. If you purchase a digital version of the game through the PS Store in fact, you can easily download the beta and start playing as early as 6 October. If you prefer to order one instead physical copy of Battlefield the process will be slightly different. In this case, in fact, you will receive a code which, once redeemed, will allow you to download the beta and play it in advance.
