Nook Miles are very important in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons economy. Basically they are an alternative currency that allows you to unlock increasingly interesting rewards, such as inventory expansions and new projects. Getting them isn't too difficult.

How Nook + Miles works

Once you've paid off your Nook 5000-mile debt and started work on your home, you'll have the option to use the "full version" of the app, which will now become Miles of Nook +. The main novelty is the presence of special daily objectives that will allow you to earn double the miles compared to their actual value (if you are lucky, the multiplier sometimes even reaches x5). In total, there are five objectives, but every time you complete one, another one will immediately arrive to replace it. However, it will not have the multiplier. For this reason, it is always better to complete the tasks entrusted at the beginning of the day first and then, if anything, to continue with the others.
