Animal Crossing Guide: New Horizons - Dream House Guide

A updating to Animal Crossing: New Horizons which, together with other important innovations, reintroduces the Dream House. This mechanic was already present in the previous title for 3DS and has become an effective one method of communication between the players. In this guide we will see in detail how to use it.

What is the Dream House?

La Dream House, already present in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, is a dynamic that allows players to visit other people's cities in total security. In fact, the player has one reply of the city where he is free to do what he wants. The visitor can not steal, damage or contaminate the city he visits, making the Dream House an effective tool for put on display your progress.

How to unlock the Dream House

You have downloaded the new one updating and you are ready to immerse yourself in new dream adventures, but you don't know where to start. Well, nothing simpler! Upon entering the game, check out the letter box: you will notice a letter from a certain Sonia, with a somewhat unusual gift.

As a gift for all players there is a Sonia's bed. If you don't have a bed in the house, place one and lie down on it: you will be asked if you want sleep or rest, you select the first option.

Orient yourself among dreams

Soon, ours Sonia it will make its appearance within the dream. It seems to know us already and will therefore come straight to the point: through a system of Dream Codes - very similar to Friend Codes - it will be possible to visit one reply of the islands of others. However, we will not keep any memories or objects once awake, just like a dream.

Visiting other people's cities

So what do we need to fully immerse ourselves in a dream? Very simple: of one Internet connection and a Dream Code that we will have to pass by a player. If none of your friends play Animal Crossing: New Horizons fear not: there are many Dream Codes made public by users, like the one you find in the next paragraph.

Get your own Dream Code

The tapira will also give us the opportunity to share one reply area of our city to obtain a Dream Code. Furthermore, we will be able to choose whether it will be shown on ours Passport (and therefore visible to all players we interact with) or if keep it private and share it only with whoever we want. The Dream Code it is very similar to the Stylist Code, so be careful not to confuse them!

A final gift

Il day after having visited your first Dream City and / or have generated yours Dream Code, Sonia will write you one again letter: inside there is, as a gift, a dream coupon. At present, its only known use is to be sold for starlets, but the possibility is not ruled out that it will have a different purpose in upcoming updates.
