A very effective method to make money quickly is to sell cooked food. By buying any type of mushroom from merchants and using it to prepare a stew (two mushrooms of any type are enough) you can resell the finished dish for 34 Rupees, often doubling your investment. The same goes for acorns, which once cooked go from 8 to 18 Rupees. In any case, it is a much slower system than for precious stones: to find gems quickly, the quickest way is to face some Sassorocks - which will always drop at least one rare gem - or explore the caves, which are a excellent source of minerals especially in the Monte Morte area.

Between the Hebra mountains and the Snowfield there are vast snow-covered expanses that are ideal for hunting. However, during our travels we came across a particular Goron who offers an infinitely repeatable mission that grants each completion a minimum of 1000 Rupees. This Goron has a thing for ripe flints, the problem is that there is no way to tell if one of these particular rocks is ripe until the moment you eat it. In order to locate them, he will ask you to bring him stacks of minimum 20 and maximum 120 flints, rewarding you with 1000 Rupees for each mature flint he is able to find.
