Pokémon GO Guides - All Pokémon found in Eggs

The eggs are a very dear mechanic in the Pokémon world, also implemented in the augmented reality game Niantic. As you well know, in this case there are no pensions to leave pairs of Pokémon. Eggs are obtained by turning Pokéstops or photo discs of gyms, opening friendship packs received from friends and walking a certain amount of kilometers.

Pokémon GO Guides - All Pokémon found in Eggs

Hatch the eggs Playing while walking is good for you

Periodically Pokémon that can hatch from the same eggs change, depending on the event in progress or as a simple good measure. For example, you can no longer find the starter Pokémon of the first three generations inside them, which forces you to look for them in nature. To hatch an egg you will have to place it in an incubator - using the one provided at the beginning of the adventure or buying new and / or more powerful ones in the shop in exchange for Pokémonete.

The 5 and 10km eggs (not those obtained from Adventure Sync) can also give life to Pokémon whose diffusion is limited to some regions - "Regional". Remember that - barring events - eggs obtained in your region cannot hatch Pokémon from different regions, just as you cannot find Pokémon in the wild from other regions in your own. The only way to get them is by exchanging them, or by waiting for a reorganization of the contents of the eggs in conjunction with particular events.

2 km eggs

The fastest eggs to hatch. Inside them you will find Pokémon as a result already by itself quite common (with some exceptions), some of which the chromatic variant is available. Among these some are quite important to keep in mind. Swablu, first of all, whose Altaria evolution is fast and so formidable that it is a frequent opponent in manager fights.

Keep an eye out for too starter Pokémon (“Starter”), made even more powerful by the legacy moves they learn on their dedicated Community Day. These moves, if you are not familiar with PvP, are obtainable only on certain occasions, and there is no way to teach them again if not waiting for months and months in the event that similar events are repeated. Root Tree, Hydro Cannon, and Fire - the moves available to starters based on their type - prove crucial in manager battles and raids.

Two regional Pokémon now hatch from 2km eggs, Volbeat and Illumise. Currently it is possible to find them wild in America and Africa (Volbeat) and in Europe, Asia, Australia (Illumise).

5 km eggs

5km Eggs can also be obtained as a reward for Adventure Sync. If you manage to reach the weekly goal, make sure you have space in the box for the egg that will be given to you. The 5km eggs can also contain some regional Pokémon.

Let's start with the basic version. Eevee, despite being a very common Pokémon, it has a set of evolutions that always come in handy. Also Wormadam (waste coat) can be a valuable ally in manager battles in the Mega League. Drapion (evolves from Skorupi), Skarmory and Gliscor (evolves from Gligar) can also be a good surprise in the same league.

From 5km eggs you can get the following Regional Pokémon. They can be hatched anywhere in the world, but only from eggs that come from one of the indicated regions. (for example, an egg found in Europe cannot contain Heracross - but an egg found in Mexico may contain it even if hatched elsewhere). In the Mega League, Heracross and Tropius are two phenomenal tricks up your sleeve - you would be very lucky if you could get your hands on these two regional Pokémon.

From 5km eggs obtained through Adventure Sync instead, only the following six Pokémon hatch. To get these special eggs you will need to have walked 25km during the whole week (Monday to Sunday inclusive), and have space in the box. The protagonists of this rotation are currently not obtainable in any other way. Also remember that Shelmet and Karrablast can be evolved by swapping them.

7 km eggs

7km Eggs are special rewards, which can be obtained randomly from friendship packages received from friends. Their content changes on the occasion of particular events, but usually they give rise to regional variants (Alola / Galar forms). Muk forms Alola, Obstagoon and Stunfisk forms Galar are adversaries that you will happen to meet in GO Battle League: get them from these eggs to have these three excellent fighters too.
Note: Obstagoon is an eighth generation Pokémon, evolving from the Galar form of Linoone - itself an evolution of Zigzagoon of Galar.

10 km eggs

These rare eggs contain species that are difficult to find in other ways, with a few exceptions. Deino and Gible are two Dragon-type Pokémon whose evolutions are of considerable importance in many situations, and are currently available exclusively through these eggs. The same goes for Riolu, which evolved into Lucario will become a real ace in the hole both in the Mega League and in the Ultra League of the GO Battle League. The speed he uses in preparing his charged attacks will allow you to take down enemy shields in a few hits, gaining an important advantage.

Also here you can find Pokémon limited to certain regions. As of the October Egg Pool update, the only remaining regional Pokémon is Sygilyph, currently limited to Egypt only.

The Sincroavventurafinally, it can also be of great help here and reward your walks with an egg of 10km per week. You will need to have walked 50km to get one (and have two free spaces in the box), but Pokémon that can hatch from the egg are extremely rare and useful in many situations.

Drop 10km Eggs obtained via Adventure Sync Larvitar, the basic form of the ever-useful Tyranitar. Beldum however it is certainly not far behind. Evolved in Metagross you will have a companion with great resistance, useful both for some raids and in the GO Battle League. Together with him remain Riolu and Bagon, whose evolutions will be of great help against the GO Rocket team and in the coach fights.

Unusual eggs (12km eggs)

The new category of Unusual Eggs, recently introduced in-game, has a very small pool of Pokémon Dark and Poison or who gain one of two types by evolving. Some have become available in the game thanks to these eggs, of which they are also exclusive. Unusual eggs can be obtained by defeating Cliff, Arlo or Sierra, and you will need to walk 12km to hatch them.
