Connection is the watchword of Death Stranding and represents the thematic core of the story and gameplay. The main mechanic that acts as a crossroads to these bonds (not only with other players but also with NPCs, Baby Bridge and the game world in general) is called Bridge Link and we will try to summarize it in this guide.

Death Stranding | Bridge Link and Contracts Guide

By opening the interface entry you will have three tabs to manage connections with other players. The first one you will see contains the list of all couriers that you have met indirectly through their structures and it does not matter whether you have interacted with them or not. The grouping of players within a game occurs in an apparently completely random manner and therefore at the moment there is no possibility to choose to be able to interact voluntarily with one's friends. The second tab will instead show only the players you have established one with connection, while still another will refer to Strand contracts.

As you can guess from the name it is a sort of contract that you can sign with another courier: from the list of players met, just press triangle to sign this agreement. Based on this contract you will see structures more frequently of certain players. On the one hand, therefore, you will have a tangible contribution, while the other courier will be able to obtain gods more easily I like it also necessary to increase the Bridge Link parameter.

Precisely the appreciation received can be an important criterion for choosing to enter into a contract with a courier rather than another: the more I like it received, the more likely it will be that its structures placed around the world have come in handy to many players and therefore you too can exploit them properly throughout your adventure. More will increase your Bridge Link over the course of the game and the more Strand contracts you can close with other players.

After years of development, Death Stranding is finally available: you can also order it on Amazon at this address.
