According to a recent rumor, Samsung Galaxy S21 could offer the long-awaited camera below the display. To spread the news, which should still be taken with a grain of salt, was Ice Universe, a well-known leaker who has often spread rumors that have turned out to be real.

The lens of the photo sensor below the display is coveted by all smartphone manufacturers, since it would allow the main one to be removed interruption present on the screen. A few months ago we also talked about Apple that could implement the technology in the iPhone of 2021. The most active manufacturer, in this sense, is Oppo. However, the Chinese OEM has encountered several difficulties that have convinced it to slow down.

Samsung is considering using the under-screen camera technology on the Galaxy S21 first, and is evaluating the feasibility of the technology.

Not even BBK Electronics (the multinational that manages the Oppo, OnePlus, Realme and Vivo brands) has succeeded in this intent. Samsung it could however be the first producer a implement a room below the display. According to the leaker, Galaxy S21, a future and hypothetical series of smartphones, could introduce this element.

However, it should be noted that Samsung has not released any prototype and that we are not aware of the possible progress achieved. The sensor integrated under the display would allow to eliminate the hole, the notch and would guarantee a further thinning of the frames of the devices.

The brand new Samsung Galaxy S20 + 5G, with 12GB of RAM and an excellent spec sheet, is available on Amazon.
